VERNA has recently compiled a report on a large scale system för reuse of urine from a housing area outside Stockholm, Sweden. The report is in swedish, with a summary in english, download here >>. Results indicate that in a regional level, the reuse of urine from 250 households can be reused in agriculture. The agricultural reuse is not a hindering factor, not even in a large city region. Issues explored are quality control, responsibilities and ownership of the system, logistics and communication. Full report for download here >>
