Water management

SwedEnviro gives support and training in water management. We produce water surveys and other basis for decision-making. We also carry out investigations around water issues (questions about water quality, pollution load, measures, restoration etc.).

We have trained ministries and counties in Estonia and Latvia in water management. In this project we are inspirer, project co-ordinator as well as teachers. We have also developed training courses as well as performed parts of the training in The Swedish national environment protection board/Boverkets regional courses in water management.

We have developed water management plans that are based on GIS for the municipality of Upplands-Bro and Håbo and also made water related action programs for the municipalities of Nacka, Ludvika and Upplands-Bro. These programs are presenting water quality, pollution loads, needs of measures, needs of restoration etc.
